Filmology V.I.P.

Filmology V.I.P. is designed to be easy for you to use and to deliver a bit of fun into your working life.

Its sole purpose is to give you the opportunity to take advantage of the range of film and cinema services we supply free of charge (bluntly, because we want to do business with you!). This includes offering you two free cinema tickets four times a year, the opportunity to win movie prizes, the chance to attend exclusive cinema screenings and some great third party discounts and offers to take advantage of.

Why? Because we want you to enjoy working with us and for you to experience the power of cinema first hand. So, if there's a chance you might become a Filmology customer or a client of ours, we'd like you to become a Filmology V.I.P.!

As such, we don't want lots of rules and regulations, but there are certain things that we have to protect ourselves against and so, here are the Terms and Conditions so please have a quick read!

Filmology V.I.P. is an entity created by P&MM Ltd (trading as Filmology) to act as a marketing tool to its clients. The Company may cease to operate Filmology V.I.P. at any time, with or without notice, and no Member shall have any redress or recourse.

Membership Terms and Conditions

Filmology V.I.P. is owned and operated by P&MM Limited ("The Company"), whose company registration number is 1090180 and whose registered office is at Avalon House, Breckland, Linford Wood, Milton Keynes MK14 6LD, United Kingdom. The terms 'Filmology V.I.P.' and 'The Website' shall be taken to mean the main internet website used by The Company to operate Filmology V.I.P..

Eligibility for Membership

Filmology V.I.P. is a not-for-profit marketing tool and as such The Company may at its sole discretion approve or decline an application for membership by any person. The rules by which a decision will be made about membership are as follows; Members must:

• Be aged 18 or over.
• Not work for Filmology (P&MM Ltd)
• Be someone who, as part of their working life, might purchase the products and services of Filmology on behalf of their business or their employer.
• Be someone whose business might support the activities of Filmology.

Only one membership will be allowed per person.

Every application will be judged on its own merits and Filmology shall approve or decline membership as it sees fit. Filmology also retains the right to cancel the membership of Filmology V.I.P. of any Member at its sole discretion. Filmology may contact an affected Member to advise why membership has been rescinded but is under no obligation to do so.

Cancellation of Membership

You can cancel your V.I.P. membership at any time, please email unsubscribevip@filmology.co.uk.

Acknowledgment and Acceptance

By applying for membership, you ('The Member') agree that you have read and understood these Terms and Conditions and that you will adhere to them.

Membership is offered at the sole discretion of The Company. The Company may modify this Agreement from time to time, with or without notice, and your continued membership will be deemed as your acceptance of the new Terms and Conditions.

For the avoidance of doubt, these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the laws and jurisdiction of England. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found invalid or unenforceable, that provision shall be enforced to the maximum extent possible, and the other provisions contained herein will remain in full force and effect.

You agree to remain bound by this Agreement (or such amended Agreement) for as long as you remain a Member or unless The Company terminates, suspends or otherwise limits access. Should The Member object to any of the Terms and Conditions of this Agreement, or any subsequent modifications thereto, or become dissatisfied with Filmology V.I.P., The Member's only recourse is to immediately discontinue participation and properly terminate his or her membership.

The Member agrees to provide only true and accurate information to The Company (including to its advertisers and partners) at all times, and to maintain accurate details on their account.

Communication

It is a condition of membership that the Member provides a valid workplace or company email address, workplace or company postal address and telephone number, and The Company reserves the right to send Members messages from time to time for which they may not be rewarded. Such messages may include system updates; flash bulletins; order confirmations; administrative announcements; special requests, marketing messages and other similar messages ('Administrative Messages') - these may be sent via email or regular mail. Members cannot unsubscribe from these Administrative Messages whilst retaining Membership.

The Company is under no obligation to provide Members with any particular number of offers or opportunities or send messages to them.

The Company does not pass any details to third party companies which may personally identify you, except where you have explicitly given The Company permission to do so or as required by law.

Termination

At any time either The Member or The Company may terminate the Member's membership with or without cause. Membership immediately ceases upon termination. The Company shall be the sole determiner in cases of suspected abuse, fraud or violation of its rules and any decision it makes relating to termination of membership shall be final and binding.

Access and security

Every time a Member accesses Filmology V.I.P. they will be required to enter their username and password on The Website, these details should not be disclosed to any third party. For authorisation and redemption purposes, you will be required to identify yourself through your username and password. For the avoidance of doubt, any individual logging in with a correct username and password will have full access to that account, and it is the sole responsibility of the Member to ensure that this information is not made available to unauthorised individuals. Access to your account is password protected and we never release details of this to third parties. Details are only released when we receive an email from the email account of the Member. If you have forgotten your password, please use the 'Password reminder' facility on The Website to request your password and username.

Note: You should NEVER reveal your password to anyone. No employee or agent of The Company will ask you to reveal your password. The Company cannot be responsible for any activity in your account which results from a Member not keeping their password secure.

Warranty

Filmology V.I.P. is being offered to individuals 'as is' with no warranty to the maximum extent as permitted by the law. The Company disclaims any representation and warranties, express or implied, with respect to the scheme, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for any particular purpose. The Company does not make any warrant, guarantee, or make any representations regarding the quality of, or assurance of any advertisement or any merchandise, products, or services offered or provided by third party companies participating in Filmology V.I.P..

The Offers

As a Member of the club you are entitled to claim, benefit from, enter or attend a variety of offers, competitions and events which shall change from time to time at the absolute discretion of The Company.

 Free Cinema Ticket Offer

As a Member you shall be entitled to claim up to two free cinema ticket vouchers per quarter (Quarter yer defined as 1st January - 31st March, 1st April - 30th June, 1st July - 30th September & 1st October - 31st December annually) for the duration of your membership.  You may choose to receive vouchers from a selection of cinema chains of from independent cinemas, each cinema voucher has its own terms and conditions; these relate to where the vouchers can be redeemed and for what type of cinema performance.

The Terms and Conditions of each voucher form part of these Terms and Conditions.
You may only claim once per quarter year and you shall be sent a maximum of two vouchers per quarter.

If you choose Cineworld vouchers they will be sent to you by email in the form of a code which may be entered online during the booking process at www.cineworld.com.  All other vouchers shall be sent in the post via first class, so please allow up to 5 working days for delivery.

All vouchers claimed are solely for the use of Members, while you may pass them on to friends or colleagues free of charge, please do not try to sell them (as this is not allowed and could be embarrassing for both of us if you got caught!).

Competitions

Through our contact with Film Distributors and Cinema Companies we are lucky enough to get access to exclusive merchandise and offers.  You will have the chance to win various items while you are a Member.

The entry instructions for each of these competitions form part of these Terms and Conditions.

The majority of competitions will be games of skill where you have to answer a question.  All competitions will state a clear entry deadline date and a date the draw will be made.  Where this is the case, winners shall be randomly drawn and apart from notification to the Member who has won, no further communication shall be entered into.

Where entry to a competition requires a winner to give the ‘best’ or ‘most appropriate’ answer to a question.  The winner shall be chosen by Filmology based entirely upon Filmology’s opinion of the best response.

By entering the competition you agree that we may publicise your name and company name if you are a winner.

Cinema Screenings

From time to time, Filmology shall host screening events of current, future or previously released films.  Applications for tickets may be made via the Filmology V.I.P. website.

The application instructions for each of these screenings form part of these Terms and Conditions.

While you are under no obligation to attend a screening once you have applied for tickets, please do not apply for tickets unless you intend coming as places are limited and you will be denying other Members the opportunity.

All screening events shall be publicised through Filmology V.I.P. and only Members and their guests may attend.

Third Party Offers

From time to time, Filmology shall give you access to offers from third party business partners.  You are under no obligation to purchase or participate in any of these offers.

Offers are communicated in good faith and the third parties terms and conditions apply.

Filmology cannot be held liable for any offers from third parties or for the content of a third party’s website.
